Our Story
Kerala Co-operative Bank was founded in 1975 by a group of farmers and small traders in a village near Kottayam who pooled their savings to offer one another fair credit. Fifty years on, the bank has grown into a district-level co-operative institution with 25 branches spread across Kerala, serving over 40,000 members — while still holding on to the founding idea: a bank owned by its members, for its members.
Vision
To be the most trusted co-operative financial institution in Kerala, promoting thrift, self-reliance, and inclusive growth in the communities we serve.
Mission
- Provide safe, accessible savings and deposit products to every household.
- Offer fair, transparent credit to farmers, small businesses, and salaried members.
- Reinvest profits into member welfare, local development, and financial literacy.
- Practice sound governance and full regulatory compliance.
